Waldorf, MD – January 29th, 2018 – JHC Technology, an Effectual Company, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract with the Texas Department of Information Resources (Texas DIR). This contract allows agencies and organizations with access to the Texas DIR vehicle to procure Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) as well as professional labor support.
JHC Technology, an Effectual Company, will deliver personnel and infrastructure to support the state’s cloud readiness assessments, migration activities, DevOps implementations, cloud security and compliance, and ongoing support needs.
“This is the second major state level contract for JHC Technology earned in 2017,” said co-founder and CEO Craig Atkinson. “With Texas and 40 other states having access to this vehicle through Cooperative Contracts and with our role as the sole AWS reseller for the State of California, we provide access to a vehicle for infrastructure and labor across more than 80% of the United States.”
The JHC Technology contract number with Texas DIR is DIR-TSO-4064. Contracts may be used by state and local government, public education, other public entities in Texas, and public entities outside the state.
