Award to Provide AWS to Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory

Waldorf, MD – November 13th, 2017 – JHC Technology, an Effectual Company, was selected to deliver Amazon Web Services Infrastructure to the Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL).

NETL implements a broad spectrum of energy and environmental research and development programs that will return benefits for generations to come. These include: Enabling domestic coal, natural gas, and oil to economically power the Nation’s homes, industries, businesses, and transportation, protecting our environment and enhancing our energy independence. NETL has expertise in coal, natural gas, and oil technologies; contract and project management; analysis of energy systems; and international energy issues.

Under the award, JHC Technology, an Effectual Company, will leverage its AWS Authorized Reseller Status to provide uninterrupted AWS Infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security, to NETL. JHC Technology began delivery of NETL’s AWS infrastructure on Oct. 1, 2017.

The JHC Technology team will provide the uninterrupted AWS infrastructure as requested by NETL, including value-added services related to best practice, cost and performance operation, and guidance on new services available to the NETL team.
